Terms And Conditions
Payment
Settlement for hired goods, including delivery is required on or before the date of delivery. A deposit of 25% of the hire value is due on confirmation of the order and will be refunded after hire goods have been checked off at the premises of At Home Catering Hire and found to be satisfactory. If the replacement cost of damaged or missing items exceeds the deposit the hirer will be invoiced for the balance.
Amendments to an original order will only be accepted if the hire charge is paid for before delivery. At Home Catering Hire reserve the right to replace a product with one of a similar quality.
Hire Period
Hire charges are for 1-3 days. 4-7 days will be charged at twice the rate. Payment to be made by personal cheque, online or Paypal.
Delivery and Collection
Collection from the premises of At Home Catering by appointment. If delivery and collection is required a small charge will be made depending on the quantity of order and mileage from At Home Catering Hire.
Hired goods delivered to an unattended address are the responsibility of the hirer. The hirer will sign for the goods which should be checked by the hirer on receipt. Goods left unattended or unlocked premises are done so at the risk of the owner or persons responsible for the premises with regard to theft or damage of any nature.
Delivery and collection charges are based on the assumption that delivery is to the ground floor and that goods will be repacked and ready for collection. If neither applies an additional charge will be made.
Hired goods will not be checked off on site by our driver.
Goods returned to and not the property of At Home Catering Hire will be disposed of 23 days after receipt if unclaimed.
Hired goods will be returned clean. A return dirty service is available on request and will be charged at 25% of the hire price Please ensure that plates and serving dishes have any excess food removed and glasses etc. are emptied before repacking items in the correct boxes.

Cancellations
Cancellations made before 14 days will incur no charge. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will be charged at 50%. Cancellations received with less than 72 hours notice will be charged in full.
Breakages
Breakages and shortages will be charged for at the current replacement price. Customer's goods cannot be accepted as replacement items.
Linen is susceptible to burns from cigarettes and if packed away wet may become completely ruined by mildew. Any cloths burnt, mildewed, torn or heavily stained will be charged at replacement cost.
Any loss or damage to hired goods if collection and return is made from the premises of At Home Catering Hire is the responsibility of the hirer.
A £10 charge will be made for any storage boxes lost or damaged.
Responsibility
At Home Catering Hire will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by use of the hire equipment or shall not be responsible for consequential loss, expense proceedings, claims or expenses howsoever caused by or arising out of late or non-delivery, unsuitability, repossession or breakdown of hired goods.
Termination
Termination of a contract is at the discretion of At Home Catering Hire at any time.
